Located adjacent to the City Hall Square, Aker Brygge is recognized internationally as an outstanding example of waterfront development. The new Aker Brygge will be strategically reorganized to provide a clean structure and strengthen its diverse yet unique and inclusive atmosphere.
The use of light as a medium to help shape the identity of Aker Brygge, enhance understanding of the space and make it even more enjoyable to visit are key priorities.
A human-centred approach is prevalent in the strategic lighting design, thus improving safety, security and accessibility. The light also describes form and function and creates hierarchy within Aker Brygge.
